The Weza website uses as little browser storage as possible. We do not use advertising, analytics or social-media tracking, and we do not load third-party tracking scripts or pixels.
What we use
Session cookie: weza_web_session
- Set by: weza-api.sionaglobal.com, only after you finish signing in with your WhatsApp number.
- Purpose: keeps you signed in so you can see your records. It holds a random token, not your number or name.
- How long: up to 24 hours, or until you sign out.
- Protection: sent only over secure connections, hidden from page scripts (HttpOnly), and limited to the Weza API (SameSite=Lax).
- Needed for the service: yes. Without it you cannot use the signed-in workspace.
Sign-in progress: weza.web.auth.challenge.v1 (session storage)
- Purpose: remembers the sign-in request you started while you switch to WhatsApp to confirm it.
- How long: until sign-in finishes or fails, the request expires (about 5 minutes), or you close the tab.
- Needed for the service: yes. Sign-in cannot complete without it.
Display details: weza.web.auth.display.v1 (session storage)
- Purpose: shows your name, business name, plan and the last four digits of your WhatsApp number straight away while the page loads.
- How long: until you sign out or close the tab.
- Needed for the service: yes, to display your account. It never contains your full number or sign-in token.
Session storage stays in your browser tab and is not sent to us.
What we do not use
- No analytics or visitor-statistics tools.
- No advertising, remarketing or social-media pixels.
- No cookies on our public pages before you sign in.
- No storage that survives closing the browser, other than the session cookie for its 24 hours.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, protects the site against attacks and may in some circumstances set a security cookie to tell people from bots. We did not observe any such cookie on 20 October 2026. If it appears, it is used only for security.
Why there is no cookie banner
Everything above is strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for, and nothing is set until you choose to sign in. There is nothing optional to accept or refuse. If we ever add optional cookies, such as analytics, we will ask for your permission first and they will stay off until you agree.
Controlling cookies
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. If you delete the session cookie you will be signed out.
